Joshua Dare was born in Wales and has been involved and surrounded by music and dance from an early age. Classically trained, on leaving school, Joshua was the youngest person to play the lead role in CATS London West End - working as a dancer/choreographer with artists such as the Spice Girls, Kylie Minogue, Catherine Zeta Jones, Tina Cousins, Alison Limerick, Sasha and the Freestylers.

Club culture focused his talents in new directions - reaching into the heart of the dance phenomenon releasing 3 progressive house/trance tracks: Soulfly (Red Parrot Recordings), that was licensed internationally and received 10/10 rave reviews in both Mixmag and Muzik and appearing on Ministry of Sounds Dance Nation 4 mixed by Boy George. Evolution (It’s Alright) (Red Parrot Recordings) licensed internationally, #6 club a vision Dance Charts U.K. How Could U Do That (Hectic Records) was Pete Tongs pick of the week on Radio One U.K.

Played by the crème of the house/trance fraternity including Sasha - John Digweed, Paul Oakenfold, Paul Goodyear and Pete Tong - and dance floors globally.

Joshua has artistically directed and co-produced many club events including Club Chakra voted best club event in London 3 times by Time Out Magazine.

In January 2000 Joshua decided Sydney was to place to be - packed his bags and set up residency. He quickly became acquainted with the local club scene, D.J’s, Promoters, Writers and Producers.

In October 2000 Joshua performed live at the theme night Studio 54, GAS Nightclub alongside Nicky Sciano, New York’s original club D.J. In December 2000, performed with Paul Goodyear and alongside DJ Jammin’, at the Glebe Festival on the roof of InDenial. In January 2001, Summer Dreaming performing live with DJ Emagica at the Chill Out Zone. Due strong demand after these performances, he pressed a limited edition run of The Joshua Project mixed live at Club Chakra, London and sold out within 5 days.

Joshua is currently co-writing and producing with local artists and DJ’s whilst still collaborating with Steve Evans RTZ Productions via the net. Refining his repertoire as a unique talent for the 21st Century.
